This research, however, unlike several others, can be implemented, and can mitigate our dependency on sources such as oils from the Jatropha plant.

Algae- the microscopic organisms, which like plants, convert light energy into chemical energy while at the same time, absorbing carbon-dioxide from the atmosphere. Algae turn the carbon they take in first into sugars and then into oil, which can be made into fuel. But some strains of algae produce much more oil than the others.
