The most awaited judicial verdict, after that of Ayodhya ...the death sentence of Ajmal Kasab is to be delivered on the seventh of the following month.
A division bench of Justice Ranjana Desai and Justice Ranjit More reserved its order in the case for February 7. Kasab, who had boycotted proceedings after the HC turned down his request to be brought to the court, failed to make an appearance on the last day. Kasab was provided the facility of viewing the court proceedings through a video conference link at his high security Arthur Road prison cell.
