BURNING A RELIGION'S HOLIEST TEXT TO MARK 9/11'S ANNIVERSARY.
Florida's governor is concerned about safety at home and around the world, a feeling shared by national and world leaders, over a plan by the head of a small church to burn copies of Islam's holiest text to mark the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
"In addition to being offensive, the Gainesville protest puts at risk those brave Americans who are fighting abroad for the freedoms and values that we believe in as Americans," said Crist, who is running as an independent for the U.S. Senate.
Such an incident makes me ask myself at times,
Aren't these people going too far? Aren't they generalizing the cause of an event to such an extent so as to burn, harass, and defame a whole religion?
Let's consider an example...
Alexander is honored with the title, "The Great" because he conquered the world from West to East, while at the same time, Genghis Khan, too, a great warrior, is crowned with the title "plunderer". This is just one of the examples.
Burning Quran will only invite more enmity and more dichotomy between the Christians and the Eastern world.
"BURNING QURAN IS RECRUITMENT BONANZA FOR AL QAIDA", SAYS BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA.
